Are you interested in learning more about nuclear mechanics and cell division? We are currently looking for PhD students and Master students to join our team.
New paper from the lab
New paper just out! Congrats to PhD student Joana Lima for publishing her work on Life Science Alliance. This excellent work shows how the LINC complex provides spatial cues on the nucleus to position centrosomes. (DOI: 10.26508/lsa.202302404).

Joana Lima awarded EMBO exchange grant
PhD student Joana Lima received an EMBO exchange grant to join the lab of Susana Godinho at the Barts Cancer Institute in London, where she will be setting up 3D cellular models to study centrosome positioning.

New paper from the lab just published in JCB
Congrats to PhD student Margarida Dantas for publishing her work in Journal of Cell Biology. We´re all proud of her amazing work showing how cyclin B1 translocation is sensitive to the tension state of the nucleus (https://doi.org/10.1083/jcb.202205051).
